Kim Kwan - What a SUPER guest designer she has been for Homegrown's Summer Survival kit! Her inspiration and interaction has been so very motivating! Guess what! Kim is not done. She was kind enough to offer to sponsor TWO Challenges here at Homegrown!
Without further adieu - here is Kim's First Challenge:
The FIRST Challenge!
GET FUNKY!!
As soon as I stopped trying to emulate the latest trends, as soon as I stopped caring what anyone on a message board thought about my art, it was AMAZING how much FUN I had. All roadblocks were lifted. All cares tossed by the wayside...and guess what? It is also the exact same time that my work actually started to get noticed! ha! How about THAT for ironic! Art is my THERAPY. It is my solace. It is my PASSION! I create for nobody besides myself!
The Challenge: Throw caution to the wind and show us just how funky you can get. Who cares what ANYONE thinks?! Who cares if you're using supplies that are not AF/LF?! Who cares what trends are hot or stylish?! When you toss out all the rules and create from your heart and aim to please NOBODY but yourself, you can't help but find your authentic inner artist! Show us who you REALLY ARE as an artist and post your layouts, journal pages or projects here so we can ALL oogle over them!
The Prize: After all entries are submitted by September 26th Midnight EST. I will use a random number generator to pick a winner and I will send you my Funky Found Art Journal kit form Paris!!
BE SURE TO LINK YOUR ENTRY TO THIS THREAD AND identify that it is the GET FUNKY CHALLENGE!
